Ingredients:

• 1 bagel (sliced and toasted)

• 3–4 slices salted beef

• 1 slice cheese

• 2–3 pickle slices

• A few lettuce leaves

• 1 fresh red chilli (thinly sliced)

Instructions:

1. Toast bagel halves.

2. Layer cheese, lettuce, salted beef, pickles, and chilli.

3. Close, press gently, and serve.

Classic Reuben Sandwich

A hot, melty sandwich full of rich flavour.

Ingredients:

• 2 slices rye bread

• 3–4 slices corned beef

• 2 slices Swiss cheese

• ¼ cup sauerkraut (drained)

• 2 tbsp Russian or Thousand Island dressing

• 1 tbsp butter (for grilling)

Instructions:

1. Butter bread slices on one side.

2. Inside, layer cheese, beef, sauerkraut, and dressing.

3. Grill both sides until golden and cheese melts.
